If you knew you'd live to 100, how would you change your life today?

Roasted Lemon & Chili Peanuts

And  you thought regular peanuts were addicting! These Roasted Lemon and Chili Peanuts take the snackability level of peanuts to a new level! Here’s a head scratcher, peanuts aren’t nuts. They are actually legumes, in the same family as green peas, soybeans, and lentils.

Regardless, the peanut plant has a long and illustrious history. Having originated in South America, 3,500-year-old pottery has been found in the shape of and decorated with peanuts! It wasn’t until the early 1800s that peanuts became an American commercial crop. Today, Americans eat more than 6 pounds of peanuts per year on average, about half of that in the form of peanut butter. Why not? Peanuts are loaded with nutrition, packed with protein, and help with everything from heart health to cancer prevention. That’s nuts!
