Love asparagus but looking for a way to mix things up? Spiced balsamic grilled asparagus is the answer! To the tender smokiness of the asparagus cooked on the grill add in the rich, complex sweetness of balsamic vinegar to give this old favorite vegetable a new life!
We all know that asparagus is healthy, but you may not realize just how healthy it is for pregnant women. Asparagus is an excellent source of folate or vitamin B9. Just a half a cup of asparagus provides adults with 34% of their daily folate needs and pregnant women with 22% of their daily needs. Folate is an essential nutrient that helps form red blood cells and produce DNA for healthy growth and development. It’s especially important during the early stages of pregnancy to ensure the healthy development of the baby. So whether you’re eating for one or two, you can’t go wrong with spiced balsamic grilled asparagus.
