In October, Dr. Eric Plasker, founder of The 100 Year Lifestyle, was named Chiropractor of the Year by Life University. There were literally thousands of possible recipients of this award. However, Dr. Plasker was chosen for his significant contributions to the chiropractic profession and leading the way for other doctors and patients. The award is Life University’s highest honor.
Life University is recognized worldwide as a leading chiropractic and holistic health organization. It gives this award to individuals who exemplify the University’s tradition of excellence and have brought credit to the university and their profession through professional achievement or humanitarian service.
Deserving
“Dr. Plasker truly deserves this award. I have personally seen his 100 Year Lifestyle message positively impact the lives of thousands of people.” Those are the words of Dr. Robert Scott DC, Ph.D., President of Life University. Of course, those who follow The 100 Year Lifestyle, know what Dr. Scott says to be true. Over his 38 year career, Dr. Plasker, a graduate of Life University, has provided healthcare to tens of thousands of families. He has done this through Plasker Family & Performance Chiropractic where he practices with his son, Dr. Cory Plasker.
Also, as an author of the best-selling 100 Year Lifestyle books, educator, and speaker, Dr. Plasker has traveled the world speaking to top companies and organizations. Additionally, he has trained over 12,000 chiropractors on The 100 Year Lifestyle. They now provide healthy longevity to their communities.
Man on a Mission
Those of us lucky enough to work alongside Dr. Plasker know that while Chiropractor of the Year might be awarded on a single day and represent a year in the life of, it is earned over the course of an entire career. Actually, an entire lifetime.
Unquestionably, Dr. Plasker has been a man on a mission since his youth. He was a high school football player wanting to get back in the game after an injury. It was then he was introduced to chiropractics. And he never looked back. His own experience with his body’s innate ability to heal had a tremendous impact on him. It was the basis for his becoming a chiropractor, for being a healthcare leader in his community, and for being a source of motivation and inspiration to thousands of chiropractors wanting to follow in his footsteps. Personally, it was the basis for raising a healthy family, all of whom became chiropractors.
Certainly, Chiropractor of the Year is an award earned day by day over a lifetime of dedication, caring, and perseverance. Without a doubt, this year it couldn’t have gone to a better chiropractor, or better human being.
Congratulations Dr. Plasker!
