Living the 100 Year Lifestyle is not about focusing on a single area of life, but rather about recognizing the profound synergy that exists among all seven foundational pillars: Health, Mindset, Food, Energy, Finances, Relationships, and Purpose. Each pillar is deeply interconnected and influences the others, creating a holistic system where the strength or weakness of one area can ripple throughout your entire life. When you actively cultivate all seven, you unlock a powerful, balanced approach to longevity and fulfillment.
For example, your health is directly affected by your mindset and nutrition. A positive, resilient outlook makes it easier to maintain healthy habits, while proper nourishment fuels your body and mind for optimal performance. Similarly, your relationships can provide emotional support that bolsters your resilience, while a strong sense of purpose infuses your daily actions with meaning – rejuvenating both your energy and motivation. When finances are in order, stress is reduced, freeing up energy and mental clarity to focus on other pillars.
No single foundation stands alone. Neglecting one area – such as allowing stress to erode your energy or ignoring relationships in pursuit of financial goals – can undermine progress in others, leading to imbalance and dissatisfaction. That’s why the 100 Year Lifestyle encourages a holistic perspective: true vitality comes from attending to the whole self. By weaving these pillars together, you create a resilient, adaptable life structure that can support you through every decade.
Embracing the seven pillars as a unified framework enables you to live each day more fully, adapt to life’s changes, and recover more quickly from setbacks. It’s not about perfection, but about making intentional choices in every area and recognizing that small improvements in one pillar often spark positive changes in others. This integrated approach is the key to living at 100 percent for 100 years – enjoying not just quantity of years, but quality in every moment.

Purpose is the guiding force that gives life direction and meaning. In the 100 Year Lifestyle, living in alignment with your core values and goals is essential for happiness and fulfillment. Purpose motivates you to grow, contribute, and find joy in both the ordinary and extraordinary moments of life.
Identifying your purpose is a personal journey that evolves over time. It may be rooted in your career, family, community service, creative pursuits, or personal development. The key is to stay connected to what inspires and energizes you, continually reassessing and refining your sense of purpose as you grow and change.
Living purposefully means setting goals that matter to you and taking consistent steps to achieve them. It involves embracing challenges as opportunities for growth, celebrating your progress, and remaining open to new possibilities. The 100 Year Lifestyle encourages you to use your unique strengths and talents to make a positive impact on the world around you.
A strong sense of purpose is associated with greater resilience, better health, and increased life satisfaction. It provides motivation during difficult times and helps you stay focused on what truly matters. By living in alignment with your purpose, you create a legacy of meaning and inspiration that endures for generations.
Together, these seven foundations form a comprehensive framework for living a vibrant, healthy, and purposeful life through every decade. The 100 Year Lifestyle invites you to regularly assess and optimize each area so you can make the most of every year – and every moment – you are given.

Relationships are the heart of a meaningful and joyful life. The 100 Year Lifestyle places great value on nurturing supportive and positive connections with family, friends, colleagues, and community. Strong relationships provide emotional support, reduce stress, and contribute to a sense of belonging and purpose.
Building and maintaining relationships requires intentional effort. This includes making time for loved ones, practicing active listening, and expressing appreciation and gratitude. The 100 Year Lifestyle encourages you to seek out relationships that uplift and inspire you, while also seeking opportunities to support and mentor others in your circle.
Intergenerational relationships are particularly valuable, as they foster a sense of continuity and shared wisdom. Connecting with people from different age groups broadens your perspective and enriches your experience of life. The 100 Year Lifestyle also emphasizes the importance of community involvement – volunteering, joining clubs, or participating in group activities can deepen your sense of connection and purpose.
Healthy relationships require healthy boundaries. Learning to recognize and address toxic dynamics, communicate openly, and forgive past hurts can transform your experience of connection and support. By prioritizing relationships, you create a powerful network that sustains you throughout life’s journey.

Financial health plays a pivotal role in your ability to live a long, independent, and fulfilling life. The 100 Year Lifestyle encourages proactive planning and wise management of resources to ensure security and peace of mind in every decade. This means setting goals, budgeting wisely, and making informed decisions about saving, investing, and spending.
Long-term financial security requires a mindset shift: rather than planning for retirement at a certain age, the 100 Year Lifestyle invites you to consider what it means to sustain your quality of life for up to a century or more. This may include continuing to work in some capacity, pursuing entrepreneurial ventures, or finding new ways to contribute and generate income well into your later years.
Financial wellness is also about reducing stress and anxiety related to money. Developing healthy habits – such as living within your means, avoiding unnecessary debt, and regularly reviewing your financial plan – can help you feel more confident and prepared for life’s uncertainties. The 100 Year Lifestyle encourages open conversations about money with loved ones and professionals to help you make choices that align with your values and goals.
Ultimately, wise financial management supports freedom, independence, and the ability to make choices that enrich your life. Whether it’s traveling, supporting charities, or investing in lifelong learning, a solid financial foundation empowers you to enjoy all that life has to offer, without fear or limitation.

Energy is the fuel that powers your daily life, and managing it effectively is key to thriving for 100 years and beyond. In the 100 Year Lifestyle, energy encompasses both physical vitality and emotional well-being. When your energy is high, you feel motivated, focused, and ready to engage with life’s opportunities and challenges.
Physical energy is closely linked to habits such as regular movement, quality sleep, and managing chronic stress. Practices such as stretching, walking, and chiropractic care can help optimize energy flow by supporting nervous system function and reducing tension. Prioritizing rest and relaxation is equally important for recharging your body and mind.
Emotional energy is about maintaining a positive outlook and managing the demands of daily life with resilience. Practices such as mindfulness, gratitude, and social connection can help you sustain emotional energy, especially during stressful times. The 100 Year Lifestyle advocates for identifying energy drains – such as toxic relationships or overwhelming commitments – and taking steps to address them.
Learning how to balance your energy – knowing when to push forward and when to rest – is a lifelong skill. By becoming more aware of your energy patterns and making intentional choices to nurture both body and mind, you can enjoy sustained vitality and enthusiasm throughout every stage of life.

Nutrition is a powerful tool for supporting longevity and vitality. In the context of the 100 Year Lifestyle, food is fuel for your body’s journey – what you eat today can influence your energy, immune function, and overall well-being for decades to come. Making nutritious choices means focusing on whole, minimally processed foods, and prioritizing balance, variety, and moderation.
A healthy diet supports every system in the body, from the brain and nervous system to the heart, muscles, and bones. The 100 Year Lifestyle encourages you to listen to your body’s needs, avoid fad diets, and develop sustainable eating habits that nourish you at every age. This might include incorporating more fruits and vegetables, choosing lean proteins, and being mindful of portion sizes.
Food can also be a source of joy and connection. Sharing meals with family and friends, exploring new recipes, and enjoying the sensory pleasures of taste and aroma are all part of a vibrant approach to eating. The 100 Year Lifestyle emphasizes that healthy eating is not about deprivation but about celebrating the abundance of foods that support your well-being.
Finally, being mindful of your relationship with food is essential. Emotional eating, stress eating, or using food as a reward can undermine long-term health goals. Developing conscious eating habits – such as eating slowly, savoring each bite, and tuning into hunger cues – can help you create a positive, sustainable approach to nutrition that supports a long and active life.

A positive, growth-oriented, and resilient mindset is another pillar of the 100 Year Lifestyle. Your outlook on life shapes your response to challenges, your willingness to adapt, and your ability to find meaning and joy at every stage. Cultivating a resilient mindset means viewing setbacks as opportunities for growth and learning, rather than as obstacles to happiness or progress.
Fostering a positive outlook can have profound effects on your health and longevity. Research consistently shows that optimism and gratitude are associated with better physical health, lower stress levels, and greater overall satisfaction in life. The 100 Year Lifestyle encourages daily practices such as mindfulness, meditation, and reflective journaling to help reinforce positive thinking patterns and emotional resilience.
A growth mindset is about embracing challenges, seeking new experiences, and viewing yourself as a lifelong learner. This approach keeps your mind agile and open to possibilities, supporting your ability to adapt to change and thrive in a rapidly evolving world. Whether you are learning a new skill, taking up a hobby, or reimagining your career, a growth mindset invites you to see every experience as valuable.
Resilience is the ability to bounce back from adversity and navigate life’s ups and downs with grace. It is not about avoiding difficulties but about building the inner resources needed to move forward with confidence. By intentionally cultivating a resilient and positive mindset, you create a strong foundation for enjoying a long, purposeful, and fulfilling life.

In the 100 Year Lifestyle, health is viewed as the cornerstone of longevity and vitality. Prioritizing proactive care means adopting habits that support your body’s natural ability to heal and thrive, rather than waiting for symptoms or crises to arise. This includes regular check-ups, chiropractic care to optimize nervous system function, and maintaining an active lifestyle that incorporates movement and flexibility into daily routines. By taking charge of your health early and consistently, you lay the groundwork for decades of independence and vitality.
Preventative habits are vital for reducing the risk of chronic conditions that often accompany aging. These habits include regular physical activity, maintaining a healthy weight, practicing good posture, and engaging in activities that promote balance and coordination. Preventative care also involves managing stress levels, getting sufficient sleep, and making informed choices about healthcare interventions. The 100 Year Lifestyle encourages you to view health as an investment, not an expense.
Maintaining physical well-being is not just about the absence of disease. It’s about feeling energetic, resilient, and capable of embracing life’s opportunities. This holistic view of health recognizes the interplay between the body and the mind, acknowledging that emotional well-being and physical health are closely connected. The pursuit of optimum health should be ongoing, adapting to your body’s changing needs as you move through different life stages.
Ultimately, the 100 Year Lifestyle empowers you to become an active participant in your well-being. Making conscious choices, seeking regular chiropractic care, and embracing a lifestyle of prevention can help you remain strong, active, and independent – no matter your age.

At just 15 years old in Spring Valley, New York, Eric Plasker suffered a football injury that landed him in the ER. The hospital orthopedist handed him a prescription and said, “Take these pills and don’t play for 30 days.” Eric turned to his mother and said, “I want to play. I’ll try anything.” The next morning, he received his first chiropractic adjustment – and that same afternoon, he played pain-free. That moment sparked a lifelong passion for unlocking human potential and the body’s ability to heal and perform at a high level – for a lifetime.
Driven by the powerful difference between crisis care and lifestyle-based wellness, Eric completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Delaware and earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in Marietta, Georgia, in 1985. Just a year later, he launched his own family and performance-based practice on Atlanta’s iconic Peachtree Road.
“I had the privilege of caring for athletes at every level – from world champions to weekend warriors – and parents who were eager to raise healthy, drug-free kids. We became the go-to source for families seeking a more holistic lifestyle.”
Since then, Dr. Plasker has helped more than 10,000 people from around the globe create real, lasting health. Through his company, The Family Practice, he has also trained over 10,000 chiropractors to become more effective communicators, leaders, and wellness advocates in their communities.
His success is built on a deep respect for the body’s innate intelligence and a proactive approach to health and longevity. While many don’t expect to live to 100, the truth is – we’re living longer than ever before. The 100 Year Lifestyle reminds us that longevity is not borrowed time, but birthright time – and that it’s never too early or too late to start living at 100%.

100:100 – Living at 100% for 100 Years
The evidence of this Longevity Crisis can be seen on nearly every street corner in every town through assisted living centers and Alzheimer’s care centers. People today are living longer than they expected or planned for. Dr. Plasker will tell you how to live your 100 years at 100%.
Stop Blaming Your Age
Age is getting a bad rap. People are blaming their age for not being able to exercise, start a new project, get a new job, reinvent their relationships, and more. Age is being blamed for ill health and injuries that have nothing to do with age. There are Alzheimer’s and senior care facilities popping up across our country at an alarming rate. Dr. Plasker explains why age has nothing to do with degenerative disease – and reveals the real reasons why Americans age so badly.
Borrowed Time vs Birthright Time: Quality Not Quantity
Adults alive today are the first generation in history getting the advanced notice that, like it or not, want to or not, you will probably live longer than you ever thought. Get there in style with health and vitality rather than rotting away. We hear elderly people often say, “I’m living on borrowed time.” This is not true. This is actually birthright time that was built into their genetics from the moment of conception.
Becoming a Least Vulnerable Person
Who are the “most vulnerable people” and how do you keep from becoming one? Dr. Plasker is committed to making you one of the “least vulnerable!”
